That's ... definitely a new one. I can see the shippy though. Definitely. I'm just gonna tell you now ... the movie is nothing like the book, practically. It's good, in it's own right, and I enjoyed it ... but only if I tyr not to think of it in connection with the books.
Okay, I admit half of my love for this movie is that Garret Hedlund is Murtagh and I fangirl them both so effing hard. Also, Jeremy Irons as Brom rocks (and made alot of sense in light of some book 3 info). Although I was SO looking forward to getting to see my mental image of a long-bearded Brom whipping Eragon's ass in swordfights. Also, Djimon Honsou as Ajihad packs ALL of his book characterization on like five seconds onscreen. As does Nasuada's actress. (Pretty much the same with Garret too.) There wasa lamentable lack of Murtagh in the movie! Also, the was no Tornac, and that was nearly enough to make me cry! And they made Brom's Snowfire black, but I refuse to complain BECAUSE HELLO FRESIAN SO GORGEOUS.
