So, while the "omfg I got to see Thriving Ivory" high is still on and I am still unable to post a picspam play-by-play of said event, I figured I'd do this thing my buddy Julie had on her lj about a week ago.

The first TEN people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of any pairing/character (from one of my usual fandoms). Original fic requests are also allowed-- as long as they are from something you know I am writing/have been writing. In return, those ten people have to post this in their journals, regardless of their ability level.

Oh, hello, would you care to create for me some awesome Harry Potter love? I don't know what your ships are but I like anything that isn't canon. Hermione/ anyone but Ron, Harry/ anyone but Ginny, etc, etc. I don't really do slash but, if you would prefer to do a slash fic, I do support Remus/Sirius. uh... and Supernatural with Sam/Dean and make it porny too... with Sam treating Dean as something precious and special and Dean is unsure and nervous/vulnerable cause he's not usually touch like that (as through he's special and something to treasure) with a bit of bitching on Deans side cause he can*t deal with it and Sam is all calm and sweet and "shut up Dean" and gentle and all and Dean gives in eventually and just lets himself be loved :)

X-Men: Logan/Scott (Classic), Petr/Scott (I keep seeing Val's Day), Petr/Bobby, Xavier/Erik (Seniors rockin' knockin' da boots, babe! ;D), and Warren/Henry (EPIC! The angst is so...*le sighs* perfect).

LOTR: Legolas/Gimli, Legolas/Elrond, Elrond/Any man (XD), Boromir/Pippin, Boromir/Merry, Theodred/Eomer, Celeborn/Elrond, Celeborn/Faramir, Celeborn/Haldir, and a whole lot more. I'd be here all damn night if I named them all! XD

That's ... definitely a new one. I can see the shippy though. Definitely. I'm just gonna tell you now ... the movie is nothing like the book, practically. It's good, in it's own right, and I enjoyed it ... but only if I tyr not to think of it in connection with the books.

Okay, I admit half of my love for this movie is that Garret Hedlund is Murtagh and I fangirl them both so effing hard. Also, Jeremy Irons as Brom rocks (and made alot of sense in light of some book 3 info). Although I was SO looking forward to getting to see my mental image of a long-bearded Brom whipping Eragon's ass in swordfights. Also, Djimon Honsou as Ajihad packs ALL of his book characterization on like five seconds onscreen. As does Nasuada's actress. (Pretty much the same with Garret too.) There wasa lamentable lack of Murtagh in the movie! Also, the was no Tornac, and that was nearly enough to make me cry! And they made Brom's Snowfire black, but I refuse to complain BECAUSE HELLO FRESIAN SO GORGEOUS.
